‘Shutter Island’ Movie Trailer starring Leonardo DiCaprio
Ok, Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio fans, here we have it, their latest work. DiCaprio is well on his way to working on more movies with Scorsese that DeNiro. Anyway, even though I thought ‘Gangs of New York’ was one of the coolest movies ever, in large part due to Daniel Day Lewis, and ‘The Aviator” was awesome, and needless to say, “The Departed” was just insanely good, I just am not sure about this latest outing.
This film from Paramount Pictures is of course an adaptation of Dennis Lehane’s novel “Shutter Island’. Now, I haven’t read the novel, so I’m not exactly sure what to expect, but just from the trailer, I don’t know if this film is going to be on par with previous outings of Dicaprio and Scorsese. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure the movie will be entertaining, just not as good as the others. Let’s hope I’m wrong though. Let me know what you think.
Plot Synopsis:
From Oscar-winning director Martin Scorsese, Shutter Island is the story of two U.S. marshals, Teddy Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo), who are summoned to a remote and barren island off the coast of Massachusetts to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a murderess from the island’s fortress-like hospital for the criminally insane.
