First Image of Mickey Rourke as Whiplash in “Iron Man 2″
Paramount Pictures has released the first photo of Mickey Rourke as Russian criminal Ivan Vanko / Whiplash from Iron Man 2.
The suit, which the Ivan Vanko put together, consists of 2 whips that are powered by the glowing chest piece. The film’s director, Jon Favreau says that the technology used in Rourke’s suit is “definitely related” to the technology developed by Tony Stark, and “that’s part of the core theme of the film.”
This definitely looks like it is early on in the movie before his suit is fully developed, so don’t worry, I’m sure we’ll see the suit evolve into a much cooler looking suit soon, not unlike how Tony Stark’s suit evolved in Iron Man.
