Steven Soderbergh casts Demetri Martin in “Moneyball”

Demetri Martin has been cast to star opposite Brad Pitt in Steven Soderbergh’s “Moneyball”. If you aren’t familiar with Demetri Martin, you may want to get familiar, as he seems to be doing pretty well for himself lately. He has his own show on Comedy Central called “Important Things with Demetri Martin”.
His comedy style isn’t for everyone, and he reminds me of Mitch Hedburg a bit in how he delivers his jokes. However, he takes a dramatic turn in Ang Lee’s Taking Woodstock, which actually looks like it is going to be a really good movie. Anyway, back to Moneyball.
MoneyBall Plot Details:
The story of Oakland A’s general manager Billy Beane (Brad Pitt) successful attempt to put together a baseball club on a budget, by employing computer-generated analysis to draft his players.
Demetri Martin will play Paul De Podesta, a Harvard graduate who turned down a job on Wall Street to use his statistical skills, a system known as “Earned Run Value,” to change baseball scouting strategy.
This movies sounds like it is going to be very interesting and I can’t wait to see it.
