Jason Bourne is back in 4th movie.
Producer Frank Marshall spoke to IESB about plans to begin shooting a fourth Jason Bourne movie next summer, which would be released in 2010. Universal announced the project back in February, with director Paul Greengrass and star Matt Damon set to return. Marshall also confirmed that they will probably be creating an original story for the fourth film, since author/creator Robert Ludlum wasn’t involved in the later books in the series.
Here’s the quote:
“There was a fourth book written, but it was not by Mr. Ludlum. So we’re probably going to take our own direction and we’re working on what that storyline’s gonna be right now.”
It’s possible the story will pick up in South America.
I can’t wait, The Bourne movies are amazing, with “The Bourne Ultimatum” actually being my favorite. Yeah, I’ll say it, better than James Bond.

I will wait the 4th sequel of Jason Bourne. I watched the entire series, from identity to ultimatum and I found the movies fast and revealing specially the last past of supremacy and ultimatum. Good luck
I believe that the series needs more to expand. There is still a lot of his past that is shrouded in mystery.
When I first heard Matt Damon was cast as the lead I couldn’t believe it. I thought someone was playing a sick joke. But, now I can’t imagine anyone else in the drivers seat. Just damn this internet thingy…now I have to anticipate the fourth movie for over two years.
I just watched the Ultimatum and will be anxious for Bourne to return. Matt Damon is the best, and these movies are worth watching again and again. Job well done.

4th Bourne!!! Thats great, but 2010 its long time to wait. Wait I will. Bourne movies is what I will play over and over if there is anything else to watch. I hope in this 4th Bourne, Jason Bourne has return to his past as David Webb and than thing HAPPEN from there in the suburban…..
The Bourne series is great “THE NEW AMERICAN BOND” and much better keep the action,suspense and the killing coming. I watch them over and over I too think that this is some of Matt’s best work to date I’m sure Bourne #4 will be great
I’m so excited and I can’t wait for the 4th Jason Bourne movie. Since they (the production) will create a new story of their own, I hope they will make it that Jason Bourne will be back working for the CIA as the agency’s top agent with a mission. They should not forget to keep the realistic hand-to-hand fight scenes and all the gun fights. I really love them!!!

Another Bourne film!!! The best news I have heard in a minute!!! I just recently heard that this was in the making, and I am already anticipating the return of Jason Bourne, or should I say David Webb. I am curious as to what kind of relationship that David and Nikki Parsons had, because she alludes to a previous relationship in the Ultimatum…hmmm I can only wonder!!!!! Yes 2010 is a long, LONG time to wait, but as with each previous Bourne movie, the wait is ALWAYS WELL WORTH IT!!!! CAN’T WAIT!!!!
Im empress with the Jason Bourne so much that Ive watch them for several times. its like real to me a superman without power of course . atleast this time its more realistic. Im thankful a movie release soon.. i cant wait 2010

This is the best action movie I’v seen, watch it weekly! Each sequel is better than the last, and ties into the last one great. can’t wait for 2010! I love the movies, and more so the books – but the director’s comment on the the 4th book not being by Ludlum is a bit arbitrary – the movies (while good) do not follow the books much at all. Less so with each movie. Here’s a spoiler. Marie doesn’t get killed, not in the 1st, 2nd, nor 3rd book, they get married. – and she is an important strong character in her own right. Oh, and Conklin… he’s Bourne’s friend by the 2nd book, as he was prior to the amnesia. I would like to point out to those who say this is his best work and such. Watch Good Will Hunting. BY FAR his best work. Granted, if you are focused on Action, this would take the cake, but GWH is much deeper and well acted.

I truly hope the announcement for a fourth Bourne in 2010 is not a hoax! I am a “young” 74 year old movie buff who has watched movies for about 60 years. The Bourne Trilogy are the greatest action movies I have seen during that period of time – without exception!
The entire cast did a marvelous job in their roles, and I too believe Matt Damon is the only one to carry a sequel. I too believe that “Jason” needs to hook up with “Nikki” – she is terrific. Producers: Do not go the James Bond series way – stick with Matt for any sequels or you will ruin the entire series of Bourne productions. Also consider keeping “Jason Bourne” as Matts’ name instead of his former (real)name of “David Webb”. We identify with “Jason” and always will.

Well, it is 2010 now, so hopefully the 4th Bourne Movie will come out soon. My husband and I watched all 3 for the first time over the Christmas Holidays, and really enjoyed them. Our taste in movies differ quite a bit, so to find a movie and especially a triology that we both sat and watched together was a feat in itself.
We are looking forward to #4!
I’ve just caught up w/ the Bourne movies and am thrilled beyond belief that there will be a fourth one out this year. To all you Jason Bourne fans: Get hold of the DVD from your local video store, library, wherever — the bonus feature stuff is totally amazing, especially the special effects. Dan Bradley is a genius & has really locked onto amazing technology. Lest you think I’m a Gen X groupie, I’ll say that I’m a retired health services professional old enough to grandma Gen X’ers. Bourne’s fans are ageless!
omg! Talking a bout bourne just now asking myself why they end the 3 rd movie by him jumping off a 10 story building. Why won’t they continue and so i cheeck i see this i am so happy and can not wait. thx. MY DREAM IS TO BECOME FAMOUSE TO BUT I NEED HELP. WOW!! I am very excited there is going 2 b a 4th bourne movie. The 1st 3 were absolutely extraordinary! I think Damon is wonderful, and he’s so cute 2. I have a feeling i wont b let down with this movie, it will b great. I have ALOT of Damon movies, he’s a terrific actor. Can’t wait 2 c this one!!
